Incorporated in 1970, OMM was the brainchild of Agostino Marchetti - a product of his enduring passion for mechanical engineering and the graphic arts.
From its beginnings as a manufacturer of items for the printing industry and
accessories for graphic art, OMM today is the European leader in the production
of pre-press and binding equipment. After the first few years of activity,
the company began developing the first paper drills and stapling machines,
bring it up to its current standing as the manufacturer of the world's
most prestigious range of paper drills and one to four-head stapling machines.
In 1986 OMM began research into the manufacture of plate developing machines.
In 1990 the firm expanded, taking over FIAR, DELTAGRAFIC and BRALMI,
manufacturers of plate developing machines with a history spanning some
25 years and 30,000 units installed all over the world.
In 1996 the expansion process continued with the take-over of TECNOGRAF
and IGT, manufacturers of machines in the pre-press and photopolymer
sector, thereby acquiring the know-how needed to create the world's most
comprehensive line of line of plate makers, plate developing machines
and photopolymer machines.
Over
recent years our willingness to accept challenges, coupled with the unparalleled
research capabilities of our technical personnel, have allowed OMM to
complete its range of binding equipment, with round cornering machines,
perforating machines, spine tapers and gluing machines.
And in line with the expectations of our customers, all our products feature
impeccable quality standards and reflect the application of the most advanced
technology in the sector.
OMM
operates from its Bologna headquarters, covering an area of around 4,000
sq.m, and a production facility in Milan, with approximately 1,000 sq.m
floor space.
Our customers are supported by more than 30 technical and commercial personnel,
constantly on hand to offer rapid and efficient service. Just one more

Today,
OMM operates in more than 40 countries world-wide, distributing over 4,000
machines each year through a network of authorized dealers.
